The Market Linocut Block Print
The Market is an edition of 24 two-layer linocut prints, printed with archival ink on BFK Rives printmaking paper. It was created using reduction printmaking, in which one block is used to print multiple layers. After each layer, more of the block is carved away, allowing for mutliple colors and a richer design. The design is 6x8 printed on 8x10 paper. Each print is titled, numbered, and signed.
